Before working with Jess, I knew I wanted to have summers off with my family and work for myself. I just wasn't sure how to get from point A to point B. With the help of Jess and Design a Life You Love, I came away with a definite plan I was excited about and could execute. The support and accountability have accelerated my plan from 5 years to just under 2 years. This is still an ongoing journey, but I could not be happier with how things have progressed so quickly.

I was motivated to participate in the Intentional Living Challenge because I realized that I wasn’t happy with how I was spending my time. I’d often wonder, “Why am I even doing this?” During the challenge, I learned actionable tools to build a non-judgmental self-awareness, reframe my inner dialogue from pessimism toward progress, and do self-care through subtraction. I now prioritize time to reflect, unwind, and experience little moments of joy on a daily basis. I’ve taken up new hobbies, and I’m exploring options to pivot my career to be more flexible and personally meaningful.

Before working with Jessica, I had a lot of aspirations that I put on hold. I did believe it was important to find happiness along the journey to FI. Yet, I had the idea that I needed to find happiness in my current circumstances only. The projects I wanted to do would have to wait. Now, I realize that I can make many changes in my life now so that I can also pursue my passions.
