Dates: Thursday, September 30th to Sunday, October 3, 2027
Location: Geneva Point Center, Moultonborough, NH
You’re on the path to financial independence—but maybe you’ve realized:
That’s what the Slow FI Retreats are all about: creating space to explore new possibilities, without the pressure to follow the “traditional” FI path.
Something unique happens when you step out of your daily routine. You gain:
This is where breakthroughs happen.
Let’s be honest: most people in your life don’t get your goals. At the retreat, you’ll connect with others who do.
People designing lives they love. People redefining financial freedom. People who will cheer you on—because they’re on the same journey.
Zoom calls are great—but they can’t replace what happens face-to-face. The casual conversations. The late-night laughter. The unexpected “aha” moments.
This is where real connection—and real change—begin.
At this retreat, you’ll:
For the first time ever, we’re introducing the White Mountains Adventure Add-On — an optional two-night experience for up to 12 participants designed to extend the Slow FI Retreat into something even more memorable.
After the retreat ends, join us in the heart of New Hampshire’s White Mountains at the Appalachian Mountain Club’s Lodge at the base of Mount Washington, where the focus shifts to deeper connection, shared adventure, and unhurried time outdoors.
We’ll kick things off with a relaxed group hike, then open up the next day for a choose-your-own-adventure — from challenging high peaks to slower trails, downtime at the lodge, or scenic drive up the Mount Washington Auto Road. With all meals included and mornings and evenings spent together, this is your chance to carry the energy of the retreat forward in a setting that invites both reflection and exploration.
*See Alcohol and Controlled Substances Policy Below for more details

Yes, we have made a limited number of private rooms available at an additional cost.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer childcare for an event of this size.
The event content and structure is focused on adults (and thus, not suitable for children).
Immediately upon registering, you will be redirected to a survey to share lodging preferences, dietary restrictions, t-shirt size, etc. I will also share this survey within a few days if you do not fill this out immediately.
After all tickets are sold, we will create a spreadsheet to share your contact and flight information. This will allow you to find others to carpool with, if you’d like.
Two months before the event, we will provide you with a detailed agenda for the event and invite you to the online platform we will use to communicate with other retreat participants.
Yes! The retreat content will cater to people at any point in their financial independence journey – from people who are completely new to the idea to people who are ready to make (or have already made) significant lifestyle changes.
The activities and breakout groups will be tailored to support people at different levels in their Slow FI journey.
No! The content of this retreat is not designed for bloggers or other content creators. The retreat will focus on financial independence and using your financial freedom to design your life.
If you are a content creator, you are very welcome to attend. This retreat will help you design your best life as you share your story and create great content.
We’ve decided to not allow 1-day attendance. The content (panels, workshops, and breakout groups) builds up over the course of the weekend, so you need to attend the full event to get the experience.
